Canoe/Kayak Orienteering and BBQ Navigation event

Location: Pugwash NS; parking lot opposite the Yacht Club on the Amherst side of the Harbour Bridge
Registration Table open from 8:30 to 10:00
Start is a mass start at 10 am sharp
Course closes at 1 pm
Fees: $20.00 per vessel Prizes for 1st and second place for Kayak and Canoe divisions; draw prizes for all entrants!

Pre-Registration is recommended to guarantee a map.
On-site registration will be available on race day.

Participants will receive a map of the Pugwash Basin and Victoria Island. Controls will be located on tripods at inlets and special points in the Pugwash Basin and can be reached without getting out of your vessel. The map includes an Island where controls will be obtained by foot and by your watercraft. Note that 80 percent of the time you will be in less than five feet of water. Safety boat is on standby if needed.
Equipment: PFD; whistle or sounding device; rope and bailer, cell phone in plastic bag
