Come to Irishmans Recreational site for a middle distance event on a new map in a new area.

A FREE Beginners Clinic will be offered for those interested in learning more about Orienteering. Basic skills such as how to read an orienteering map and do simple navigation will be included. The beginners’ clinic will be held from 10-10:30am. Registration for the beginners clinic will be at 9:45am. A waiver will be required, and beginners wanting to try a course after the clinic will also need a membership form (see below for details). Standard OANS fees will apply to the course, however there is no charge for the clinic.

Pre-Registration for the event (and the beginner clinic) is recommended to guarantee a map. Each participant in OANS events is required to sign a waiver and membership form once per year for insurance purposes. OANS membership is automatic (and free!) with participation in any event.

First event of the season? Speed up registration by printing your membership and waiver form, and completing them in advance (available on OANS and AVOC websites). See "Resources" on this website for all necessary forms (Click on "OANS Registration Materials”).
