AVOC Sprint Series 2018
Sprint orienteering combines thinking and racing, primarily in urban areas such as campuses or parks. Navigation is relatively easy at a slow pace or a walk, so sprint events can be a great introduction to the sport.
The Annapolis Valley Orienteering Club (AVOC) presents a series of 5 sprint orienteering events in 2018 with beginner, intermediate and advanced courses at each.
Participate in one event, or join them all! Your best 4 of 5 races will count toward overall prizes at the series finale for the top three male and female in each category (additional categories to be added if numbers warrant). Wayfaring groups (2 or more persons completing the course as a group) are welcome.
