COVID PROTOCOLS: All COVID regulations for outdoor sports apply.

Participants are required to read and comply with the Orienteering Canada COVID-related guidelines below:

• You must have a 2021 Orienteering Canada waiver and membership form on file to participate in this event (if you have already completed these forms in 2021, there is no need to do another one. If you reside outside of NS, you need to be registered with a home club). These can be filled out online here REGISTRATION AND WAIVER . (Waiver only for those registered with a club outside NS).
• On the day of the event, please complete the COVID HEALTH DECLARATION. Please do not come to the event if you have travelled outside of the province in the previous 14 days or have any COVID symptoms.
• Participants are expected to be familiar with Orienteering Canada's GUIDELINES FOR CLUB ORIENTEERING ACTIVITIES.
• Please remember to bring proof of vaccination for all participants 12 and older per NS Public Health Guidelines for organized sporting events. Registration: Please ensure you register on this site (or via email to ValleyOrienteering@outlook.com) by Thursday, October, 2021, given we must adhere to maximum participation restrictions. On-site check-in will take place on site from 6:00 to 6:45 pm. Please bring completed COVID Health Declaration (signed on day of event) and ensure you have completed membership/waiver in advance (see below).

Start: 7:00 pm; mass start

Course: There will be one modified score course. Time limit 45 minutes, perhaps a bit more.

Entry Fees: The following are the fees for this event (pre-registered):

Senior: (age 21 and above) $10

Junior: (age 20 and under) $5

Family or wayfaring group: $15

Organized Group (e.g. scouts, guides, cadets, etc.: $5 per person

SI (timing device) rental: $3 per unit

Maximum fee per family unit: $25

Last minute registration: This can be done on site, but to know how many maps to print we like you to register early. Also, pre-registration allows the on site details to move more quickly.

In person: A payment container will be available. Please bring correct change.

Directions: Haliburton House, (414 Clifton Ave, Windsor, NS) , go past the main gates on Clifton Ave, around the bend to the back gate. Turn right into the property and head straight up the hill to the parking lot by Haliburton House. Take care as this is a one lane road and traffic will have to travel in both directions.
